The silliest statement often made about the modern Libertarian movement is that it's done very little, and elected no one--often followed by a complaint of a need for an activist manual or strategy proposals that collide with what people are doing. These links address these concerns.
While many of these links are obsolete, most are not. In 1999, was this was the first international resource link portal of it's kind in the movement, and immediately hailed as ushering in a new era by activists. The presentation of libertarian materials was very different from what had been done before, emphasizing achievements and replicating success instead of re-inventing what often proved to be flat tires, and the concept was imitated by other parties and political groups.
In addition, there are and hard to find references to past articles and manuals highly useful to many, and are kept here. A new resource project is underway at www.Libertarian-Program.org

| "The only good ideas seem to be coming from the Libertarians."--Journalist of the Century Award Hugh Downs Libertarian Philosophy: An Introduction Libertarian philosophy is based on one simple premise: That the initiation of the use of force is morally wrong. This premise also has a wide scope of application, particularly where government is concerned. This principle protects an individual's rights to life, property, speech, press, and belief. It also puts severe limitations on governmental power. This is a large part of why Libertarians are sometimes thought of as radical. Taxation e.g. is forbidden as an immoral initiation of the use of force.
